For more advanced pigmentation symptoms, IMAGE introduces IPEEL lightening lift® FORTE. This extra strength Clinical Couture Designer Peel option contains the same innovative botanicals and skin brighteners and tyrosinase inhibitors as our original Lightening lift but is formulated with Lactic Acid for a boost of added exfoliating, lightening and hydrating power. Suitable for: All skin types Target treatment: Hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun spots, post-inflammatory pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, and scarring. Downtime: the first two days are very minimal and almost no flaking at all, days 3-10 can be similar to a bad sunburn. Makeup is not recommended for post-care as it can be super irritating to the new skin. Peel sensitivity: warm and slightly tingly for about 4 minutes. It is then removed with cool water that will immediately neutralize the peel leaving zero sensitivity. A neck fan is used during this treatment to keep the client comfortable. Recommendations: - 3-6 peels spaced 1 month apart. - Gentle products ONLY / Face Reality Barrier Balance Cleanser + Barrier Care Gel Cream - for NEW peel users, I highly recommend beginning your series with the Lightening Lift Peel (light) to prepare your skin for this more advanced treatment. - Discontinue ALL exfoliation such as: Tretinoin, waxing, dermaplaning, scrubs, salicylic acid, mandelic acid, glycolic acid, retinol, differin, PanOxyl, benzoyl peroxide, or any other form of exfoliation 7 days BEFORE AND 10 DAYS AFTER your appointment! Failure to do so can result in the skin being too compromised for the treatment - which leads to chemical burns. - If you "tan" easily or prone to pigmentation, it is recommended to begin a Tyrosinaise inhibitor prior to your peel series to prevent any post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The Face Reality Glow Tone Serum is my go-to product. Begin this product 7 days prior to your first treatment, then continue using it throughout your series. **Further instructions for post-peeling will be given at your appointment.
