Suitable for: All skin types Target treatment: Hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun spots, post-inflammatory pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, and scarring. Downtime: the first two days are very minimal and almost no flaking at all, days 3-10 can be similar to a sunburn. Makeup is not recommended for post-care as it can be super irritating to the new skin. Peel sensitivity: warm and slightly tingly for about 4 minutes. It is then removed with cool water that will immediately neutralize the peel leaving zero sensitivity. A neck fan is used during this treatment to keep the client comfortable. Failure to do so can result in the skin being too compromised for the treatment - which leads to chemical burns. - If you "tan" easily or prone to pigmentation, it is recommended to begin a Tyrosinaise inhibitor prior to your peel series to prevent any post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The Face Reality Glow Tone Serum is my go-to product.
